Ordynka Courtyards
A series of podium courtyards overlaying an underground car park in a luxury residential development in central Moscow. The client’s brief referenced the Museum of Modern Art garden in New York — elegant, contemporary, and structured around water and stone. White granite paving and a large reflective pool form the main architectural elements, balanced by lush planting wherever space allowed.
The planting is naturalistic yet resilient, designed to thrive in shallow substrate and semi-shaded conditions. Textural contrasts and layered greens soften the granite surfaces, bringing a sense of calm and seclusion to the enclosed courtyards.
